Coatings for PEM water electrolyser cell components
The metal components in PEM water electrolyser stacks benefit from lower contact resistances when coated with PV3 Technologies’ proprietary coatings. Specially designed coatings for foils, porous media, plates and meshes maintain their low contact resistance over 10 000s h, with an inherent ability to withstand oxidation and hydriding. Current production capacity for these coatings equates to 150 000 m2 pa

Coatings for alkaline water electrolytes
This type of water electrolysis coating is well-suited to meshes, plates and foam-type substances. Our industry-leading cathode catalyst for Ni electrodes also operates at very low overpotentials. Again, a key element of this product offering is that it is priced primarily with enhanced value for money in mind. Our current production capacity is 50 000 m2 pa.
Our water electrolysis catalyst powders
For PEM Water electrolyser application, we offer customers making catalyst coated membranes (CCMs), both anode catalysts (IrO2 and IrRuO2) and cathode catalysts (Pt/C).
These catalysts are highly dispersible into inks, and in round robin tests came out top in performance and durability evaluations. Orders of kg-scale are typical.
